Best Vegan Pizza in NYC

The quest to find the best vegan pizza in NYC isn’t an easy one, so here I am trying to make your search easier (the sacrifice, right?). My first attempt at going vegan started back in 2016 and I did a whole lot of searching for the best vegan food in NYC. I haven’t stopped since.

Here are my top 5 Best Vegan Pizza Spots in NYC in no specific order:

1. Screamer’s Pizzeria- Brooklyn

The first full vegan pizzeria in Brooklyn opened in 2016 in Greenpoint and sells about 1,500 slices per day! Their pizza is so popular and in high demand that they decided to open a second location in Crown Heights in 2018.

2. Vinnie’s Pizzeria-Brooklyn

This cozy pizza shop serves a variety of vegan slices and vegan appetizers. You can find everything from vegan garlic knots to vegan baked ziti here. Oh, and they also serve non-vegan slices and other items as well

3. NY Pizza Suprema- Midtown

This NYC staple is very well known. They’ve been serving pizza since 1964 and have been featured on different news outlets. Mouthwatering vegan slices are served at this spot in Midtown. A must-have is definitely the Vegan White Truffle Pizza. But don’t be shy and try the other vegan slices they serve.

Non-vegan slices are also served in this location.

4. Uncle Tony’s Pizza- Harlem

How does a pizza happy hour sound? This cozy spot is always buzzing with college students from City College and it’s for a good reason. There’s one vegan option and it’s good enough to keep me going back for more. This spot has a pizza happy hour from 11 AM-4 PM every Saturday and Sunday.

5. Artistic Pizza- W4th

This is a hidden gem near Washington Square park. This place serves vegan and non-vegan slices. They don’t necessarily promote the variety of vegan slices they serve but trust me when I say that you definitely want to pay them a visit. Go ahead and ask for a vegan buffalo chicken ranch slice. Thank me later.
